Knowledge Exchange is a two-day year-end forum created by AFTEC (The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection), the pioneer and specialist in creative learning and teaching in Hong Kong. Beginning with Building the foundation (2021-22) required for the establishment of creative classrooms, we progressed to Connecting education and arts (2022-23) by fostering a trusting and collaborative environment. And now we are here in 2023-24, Re-imagining the future.
This forum honours the accomplishments of all stakeholders by bringing together local and overseas experts, principals, teachers, artists, parents, students and curious minds to explore how creative learning can be embedded into formal schooling over time in an arts-based cross curriculum platform, and what happens when educators and creative practitioners rethink their roles with students. These spur us to re-imagine how we will nurture our next generation adopting a generic creative learning model that yields a wide range of rich and diverse positive results.
