“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”

Dive into a tale of love, loyalty and conflict! AFTEC presents another classic from the SCOLAR English Alliance “From Page to Stage^®” Programme 2020, which was unfortunately cancelled in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Inspired by Charles Dickens’ novel A Tale of Two Cities, the story is adapted into a radio drama with music, illustrations and subtitles. Listeners are transported to the French Revolution, where a touching love story illuminates the darkest of seasons. 

A synopsis and Learning Pack are also available. This Learning Pack offers teachers and parents a wide variety of information to suit all levels that can be used in the classroom or at home.
