Flow-STREAM Learning for Schools
Full day innovative life-wide learning through a STREAM approach
600 students and teachers from 9 secondary schools and 4 primary schools joined the Flow – STREAM Learning for Schools programme at Shalowan on 1 & 8 November 2019 (Fri) respectively. Students & teachers from Primary 1 to Secondary 3 were all fascinated by the journey of exploration and discovery on the theme of water together with professionals from the globally renowned Eden Project (UK) & Hong Kong via interactive events. Participating students from Key Stages 1-3 were given specially designed Creative Activity Workbooks which were based on cross-disciplinary & EDB curriculum topics featuring general knowledge & exclusive data on water footprint in Asia, our daily life and tips to reduce water usage.

Following the huge success of Flight in 2018, Flow is a cross-disciplinary outdoor arts & education festival against the natural backdrop of Shalowan Village on Lantau Island.
Discover and explore the theme of water with professionals from the globally-renowned Eden Project (UK) and Hong Kong via interactive events including

• Live musicand interactive theatre performances
• Arts education through storytelling, workshops, adventure trails and village introduction

Using life-widelearning & field trips to enhance students’ learningRiding on the Eden Project and AFTEC’s 2018 Living Campus at Shalowan Village as case studies, Eden professionals guided teachers to plan, resource, deliver and follow up field trips to benefit students’ learning across the curriculum.
Includes general knowledge & exclusive data on water footprint in Asia, our daily life and tips to reduce water wastage.
