The general Odysseus returns home 20 years after the Trojan War to find his wife and son harassed by men who wanted to marry his wife for her money. Odysseus, aided by his son, kills the suitors and is reunited with his wife, Penelope. But our re-imagination of the conclusion of the Odyssey ends with a twist.

Framed by a ghost in the underworld and denied initial help from the human legal system, an honest man Xi Fangping perseveres to find justice for his son. From the famous Chinese classics of Liaozhai, this adaptation reveals beauty in movement, words and hope.
