Celebrating Christmas, AFTEC was proud to present Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol on 22–23 November 2012. The performance was in collaboration with Audience Building Office of LCSD under the School Culture Day Scheme.
Under the adaption of our Artistic Director, Dr. Vicki Ooi, A Christmas Carol tells a story of Scrooge, a pitiless moneybag. Scrooge travels to the past, the present and the future with three spirits and discovers the importance of generosity. His magical experience reveals the meaning of the festival.
Audience was welcome to have a dialogue with our foreign professional actors during the post-performance activities and even have the opportunity to perform the selected text on stage. The performance dedicated to deepening local students’ drama knowledge and promote the arts.
